Royal College of Art


Our studio spaces were in the roof space at the top of the Victoria and Albert Museum. There was a small staircase down into the gallery directly below us. It had a room full of Constable sketches that I visited regularly. I learnt so much from them and the other paintings on display. My tutors were all abstract enthusiasts.
